Not Political (McCain and Obama roast eachother at dinner)
These are quite funny!
of course these are all scripted by writers but it is refreshing. |
i loved both of them. freaking hilarious.
"contrary to popular belief...i was not born in a manger..." "i thought this was moved ot yankee stadium...and where are my greek columns" "Joe the plumber..recently signed a very lucrative contract with a wealthy couple to handle the work on all 7 of their houses"... "this campaign began so long ago with a man who was known by oprah as 'the one" ..i just called him, "that one" "he even has a pet name for me..george bush" "i get the feeling that some here are for me...i'm so glad to see you here tonight, hillary' 'gee, who would think that a crossdressing mayor could not head the republican party...that was a tough primary for you, john" |
I watched some of it and it was a pleasant departure from what has been going on. This organization puts these on every election year.. and they are probably my favorite.

Holy cow I was tearing up at work laughing so hard at both of them. A+
|
I think of the the subtlest things that I laughed at was the fact that Obama and McCain were separated by the cardinal almost as if he was there to moderate between them ;)
|
I thought they were both funny too, but very scripted. The one thing I enjoyed is that they could laugh together, a nice different side to see of them. But I enjoyed the way Obama seemed more comfortable and natural when speaking. McCain reminds me of my dad when he tries to tell jokes. But I did notice that a lot of what McCain joked about I didn't understand what he was referring to. But still, both VERY funny!
