I mean, I could be wrong, but I've been taught since a young age that there are a couple others words considered "more bad" than those....Not to say that those 3 are good by any comparison, but I wouldn't agree with someon calling them "extreme curse words", as so quoted by the Simmons/Chavis statement...

Was not saying that it is a step in the wrong direction....Just saying that I disagree with some of the thoughts behind the idea....That, and I guess I'm not a big fan of politics, woul go so far as to say I'm not good at them lol...

This is a stupid idea, it's like outlawing weed and wondering how people still get it.

There is obviously a demand for this, outlawing "ho" would just lead people to use "chicken head", "slut", "hizzo" etc. etc.

It is slang, it has infinite terms for anything and everything.

look, if we want to eliminate racism we need to eliminate hate-filled racial speech. While obviously the government isn't going to do it (nor should they) it's rather nice to see those who control what influences our children call for their elimination. The word "nigger" is one that should not be directed against anyone, by anyone, regardless of race. As for bitch and ho, they clearly aren't as charged as nigger, however, I think it'd be nice if popular music didn't glorify dumbassery anymore. Might send a better message to the kids.
