Fox News runs a "The Daily Show" knockoff called "The 1/2 hour News Hour" and cements itself firmly in the pathetic category. Not only is the show a backfiring slingshot of failed humor, the content is vile enough to drop jaws. At least with The Daily Show, they present facts, and then make fun of them. Within the first 30 seconds of the FOX show, you'll be greeted by a handful of made-up falsities that only uneducated fuckwits and the LaughTrack9000 could chuckle at.

What does it add up to?

Well it leaves me wondering how anyone could endorse this crap. There are few real judgement barometers in this world, but I think this is one. That is to say, if you actually like this crap, I'm not afraid to call you a bleeding idiot for doing so.

The program might be mildly amusing if it were intended as a parody of conservative humor. Considering how unfunny this program is, I find it strange that FOX considers this worthy of putting on the air.

Stephanie Miller has been playing audio clips of the program on her radio show this week. The funniest thing going is the laugh track.

crooksandliars.com have some clips for download here and here and yes, I must say that it's painful to watch. You would think with Fox resources they could have come up with something better. The Daily Show has nothing to fear...

I think it is funny how Fox news claims to be fair and balanced and then comes out with such a clearly biased parity.

Rupert Murdoch is grasping at straws. The "Conservatives" had their chance -holding both the house AND the senate while Bush was in office. All we have to show for it is a more fucked up country and a more fucked up world.

The spin ministers at FOX don't understand WHY their boy is loosing popularity and POSSIBLY blame the "Liberal Media" like the Daily Show. So they think they can come up with the Fox equivalent -ignoring obvious Fox talent that makes up shows like "The Simpsons" or "The War at Home" in favor of "Right Wing" brain damaged commentary.
