Recomended Political Quizes
I saw a similar thread about a political compass. I prefer some of the older resources like
The Worlds Smallest Politcal Quiz (10 questions) http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html or www.Politopia.com This one helps you realy get a better understanding of the different possitions and you can see where your friends stand too. I'm a Libertarian. Hello. |
OK, the first one said I'm totally Liberal...I don't think so,
there's not enough questions with enough variety. The second one: Centerville-You would feel most at home in Centerville, which means that you are more or less pleased the status quo-you think the US government has just about the right amount of control over your economic and personal decisions. Your neighbors include democratic and republican party leaders and others who call themselves "moderates" and "centrists." right on top of GW...hmm, I don't know about that. not me, him. this is a third: http://madrabbit.net/webrabbit/quizshow.html hmm...16 near the center to the left, right of Bill Clinton and a 4th (the best one): http://www.politicalcompass.org/ Economic Left/Right: -2.25 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -3.54 So centerist, with a touch left, and a touch libertarian (sounds about right) and a 5th (decent): http://www.3pc.net/matchmaker/quiz.html 1) Libertarian Party 73% 2) Green Party 73% 3) Democratic Party 64% 4) Reform Party 45% 5) Republican Party 36% 6) Natural Law Party 36% 7) Constitution Party 36% and a 6th (pretty good) http://idealog.org/ideaflash.asp?page=run Centerist with a slight lean to the left. and a last http://www.progress.org/banneker/posquiz.html I'm all the way in the Capitalist corner.:) Look like I'm constitent, but I think most of these quizes need a lot more to them, political thinking is very complex and subtle. |
It said was a libertarian too! Now this is something I don't understand - The Dude claims to be a libertarian - we are 957 degrees apart - One of us is operating under a delusion.

Centrists favor selective government intervention and emphasize practical solutions to current problems. They tend to keep an open mind on new issues. Many centrists feel that government serves as a check on excessive liberty
and on the second one... Centerville-You would feel most at home in Centerville, which means that you are more or less pleased the status quo-you think the US government has just about the right amount of control over your economic and personal decisions. Your neighbors include democratic and republican party leaders and others who call themselves "moderates" and "centrists." |
I like taking these tests for fun, but lets be honest, I know what I am better than any test.

I've been popping up pretty consistantly liberal. although on one I was WAY authoritarian.
On the one with the pics I was a score of 15 - exactly like Mr. Clinton :) |
