That's pretty sweet! In our old hometown in MI there was a mural on the side of the movie theatre. Had characters from all kinds of famous movies. If I ever get the chance again I'll have to snap a photo of it. I love building murals.

Shame there isn't more of this stuff around. Nice post!

It's on this little alley street in Los Gatos, CA.

I'll bet you didn't remember because nobody here on the left coast can remember those dad gum indian names! Here in WA state, I live in Issaquah, which is near Lake Sammamish. I grew up near Kalaloch and Sekui.

Thanks for the reminder that I have not been to the coast for years. Gotta go gotta go....and grab some nice shots like this myself.

Hey flyman, here's few to add to your colection, none quite as awesome as your first one though. Don't know where this first one's painted but I thought it was quite cool!

These are from Durham, NC. The city has lots of murals, here's a few:

Looks like BC's version of Rushmore

Here's mine.
London, South Bank of the Thames.

The main mural is really wierd when you first notice it. You think that people are looking down at you, but they're paintings.

The Lady was doing street art and I don't know if you can read it in the reduced images, but it says she's been there for 5 weeks.

The last is a doorway near London Borough market. Banksy has gone and sprayed this right next to a door that everyone poses in front of as it's used in a scene from 'Lock, Stock and 2 smoking barrels'.

The one on the pavement is awesome! Thanks for sharing.

flyman-

Is that by Wyland? I can't read the scribble with the picture size. Wyland is an artist that does mostly whale pictures, large scale. He went to my high school a few years before I did. He's pretty talented, and that looks just like his work.

Here's another one from Detroit on the Broderick Tower:

I was always a big fan of the flatiron building in Toronto. This mural was painted on the broad end of it, but I dont' know if it's still there or not?http://www.cs.utexas.edu/~shmat/phot...1flatiron1.jpg
