I really gotta get to the Grand Canyon and witness its... errr... grandness.
The way the lines of the cliff and the lines of the clouds contrast makes for a very striking picture... Nice one! |

Bright Angel or Kibab ? Did you spend night @ Phantom Ranch? All I know is never again down first, Having to climb back out was a mother

Bright Angel. Didn't stay at Phantom Ranch -- I joined a river rafting trip, and did the lower half of the Canyon.
Never again will I do a half trip, because of that hike. Only a full one. |
The Phantom Ranch was an enjoyable stay, and a well deserved rest. When we got to the bottom of the canyon our calves were destroyed! Thanks for the pic, and Lebell is correct, if you have never been, the scale is unimaginable.

It's really amazing what water and a lot of time can do. Thanks for sharing the grandeur that is the canyon with us. I want to go there eventually but for now I'll have to live vicariously through you ;)
