Happy Halloween!
Here's a few pics from a walk about town on a beautiful, crisp fall day. Actually, the day before Halloween.
The spirits were busy preparing: Damned if I even found my pal flyman, out styling in his bastard skwerl costume: Enjoy, everyone, and I hope you all eat way too much candy like I'm gonna do..... |

Hey thanks a bunch *Nikki* and juju.
juju, it is still my Nikon D100, but take a look at this: http://www.calumetphoto.com/pr.jsp?p...00&t=e368&US=1 They're bringing out the D200. A bunch more megapixels for about 1600 hundred bucks. Still not as sweet as the D2X, but probably still a nice upgrade. |

PJ, I don't know if you have read the following about the new D200, but it sure reads as a sweet new Nikon. Click here.

Jeez, no kidding TD. Just the changes just in these categories make it almost a no-brainer to upgrade:
durability - new magnesium alloy body sensitivity - yay, finally slowed down to 100 ISO shutter speeds - top speed from 4000 to 8000 white balance - looks like more Kelvin adjustable. maybe less guesswork AI aperature ring - metering available with that old classic manual focus Nikon glass battery status - remaining % and shots since last charge Sweet looking rig for sure. Now I just gotta convince the 'finance chairman' what these changes mean.... Thanks for the link TD |
