Pictures I took in Boston (not safe for slow modems)

Here's some pictures I took this last weekend when I was in Boston with my family...

State house (I think maybe? It could just be a cool building)

A shot of a tower from the bottom

Samuel Adams statue

Copp's Burial Ground grave stones

Trinity Church sculptures

Hancock Tower

Reflection of the Trinity Church in Hancock Tower (They wanted this newage tower to 'reflect' the history of Boston)

Trinity Church

Me being bored, I just like how it turned out

Prescott - The guy at the battle of Bunker Hill (Shoot when you see the whites of your eyes guy)

A hanging chain on the dock

Life preserver on a boat while I waiting for our harbor cruise

A picture of Boston from the harbor

A clock tower at dusk

The Kennedy Library - I like this because of the reflection on the building

For some reason this is my favorite picture - It's just a chain that's hanging down over the water

Very nice photos. I like the contrast between the old building and the new ones behind it. and the angle on the 2nd one is amazing and I like the reflection of the sky in the windows.

Oh yeah, I accidentally posted it with only two pictures - I've got it completely updated, though...

Nice pictures... The first picture is of the old state house.

Old State House

Once the town's grandest edifice, now it is surrounded by tall skyscrapers. The lower floor originally was a merchant's exchange. It was a meeting place of the Massachusetts Assembly, Court of Suffolk County, and the Boston town government.

Cool - Thanks for the fact finding mission. I knew it was the state house or Quincy Market, I just wasn't sure, but after looking at pictures of the state house and the skyscrapers behind it it's definitely the Old state house.

I like the last one too. I'm always a fan of contrasting textures.

Nice Job
