A friend and I went hiking today, and at the end of the trail was this:

from other side:

Water coming from rock

the other half of the spring the trail is named for:

Scenery on the 4 mile trail to the springs:

Those are beautiful pictures. I am jealous of all the wonderful scenery everyone gets to see.

Surprisingly, Yes

This was a place about 20 minutes outside of Payson, Arizona - it was a 2 hour 15 minute drive from my driveway to the trailhead of the trail.

Didn't take off the shoes, but I did dip my fingers - wouldn't have wanted to put my boots back on

Not too far ... just hop in your car and drive for 7 hours
