Properly inspired by the threads of Paq and Pinkie, I humbly submit some pics from my visit to our local zoo. Pretty small by big city standards, I was struck though at how clean and well kept it seemed, and by how well cared for the animals were. I guess it reminded me a bit of Linus' pumpkin patch, not the biggest, but VERY sincere..... :D Anyhow:

The close up on the Elephant is amazing. I can almost feeeel it.

Are you sure he liked the joke, or were you insulting his intelligence?
I like the close up of the elephant the best. All that ruff texture then those delicate eye lashes. great.

Wow... those are some serious action shots... I like the one of the trunk filling with water... it's details like that that just facinate me.

Those are great...I really liked the Owl. Did they have any Vultures there?? Those are another favorite bird of mine.

They did have some, but there cage was so dark, a photo was damn near impossible. Weird looking birds though.

Love the seal picture. Those are my favorite animals. I love how they swim upside down and like to show off. Also, they remind me of dogs for some reason, don't know why. Now, you have made me want to go to the zoo tomorrow. Great pictures!
