Where you are
I thought it would be interesting if we (or at least I ) posted pics of where you are when you're on TFP.
This is where I live. It's messy and cluttered, but it's still home. I like to think that it represents me quite well. Oh and for those who want to know, I used a Cannon Powershot A95 on Auto.

Here's my living room/studio/TFP browsing area. (Canon S30 with Fisheye Lens)

Here is my downstairs play area.
The guitar is a 1975 Gretsch New Yorker that I've had for 20 years. Great guitar. The funny looking thing on the end of the table is a reloader. I shoot and reload .38 special in all my pistol comps. That's Beavis hanging on the wall, wearing a little t shirt I made for him that says, 'Hell is for Wimps'.

Aww, these look so great. I tried taking a picture with my cell-phone camera, but of course, its total junk. Besides, my room if far too messy for eyes but my own.
But it is a bedroom. So, if I haven't ruined it already, go ahead an imagine a nice clean room with a made bed, clean desk, and fancy, trendy posters on the wall. Though in reality, my room has none of these things. It has a computer, a bed with a suprisingly small amount of mess on it, and two little Jay and Silent Bob figures. And far, far too many magic cards.

This is my desk, complete with pictures of my old cat, my mom and dad, a stack of movies, a fair amount of music CDs, my iPod, and Oreo cookie mousepad. My desktop is Matt Bellamy of Muse (swoon). I meant to put my U2 poster above my desk but never got around to it, and as I'll be moving soon that would be rather useless.

Oh I know, I noticed the post-its too! It's interesting to compare with, for example, shrubbery's austere space. Shrubbery, I live in a college town and I've spent a fair amount of time in the dorms here - yours might look a little bit less like an office if you put in a keg, a bunch of old skateboards, some Indian print bedspreads and posters on the walls (Che never goes out of style) and random CDs scattered all over the floor. It's not a suggestion but it would really soften up the look of your room, you know?
Onesnoweyowl, is that green can on the left some sort of spray-on bust? I've been needing some of that since I was 13 and started developing! And what's with the mouse effigy? Don't tell me you take after your username and you're saving it for a snack! Pinkie, I like the serenity of your plants. See that "lucky bamboo" that's threatening to eat my monitor? It was the size of yours 3 years ago. |

The post-its are all things I'd like to remember, or at least things that I'd rather not forget. Some of them are quotes from lit class ("We always find something, eh Didi, to give us the impression we exist.") to phone numbers to summer plans.
Then on top of that, they're colourful. |

I was going to ask Onesnowyowl about the mouse and if that was a U2 ipod on her desk...
