So I haven't taken much in the way of new photos lately. I sure want to..! While leaving a medical waiting room today, I did the unthinkable: yes, I removed a magazine. eDigitalPhoto. (edigitalphoto.com, BTW) I "borrowed it" because there was a cool article on how to get an Infrared look with Photoshop. So I broke out some old Holga photos and fidddled away. This one came out pretty good, and since my friends here only deserve the best, here it is. Hope you like!

Hey bro, good to see you posting. I certainly hope things are looking up for you two.
Interesting subject juju. Just the other day someone asked me if there was any digital process to create this affect. I'd be interested to see the original phot posted side by side to see how it's changed. Thanks for posting man, looking forward to seeing more of this. |

pj - the original photo was in this post http://www.tfproject.org/tfp/showthread.php?t=80025 down at the bottom.
BTW - I'm scanning the pages of eDigitalPhoto tonight (too lazy to write it all out!) I should have links to them soon. |

OK. Here is the article from eDigitalPhoto, Nov 2004 issue. Three pages of of instructions for Photoshop CS. I need to find some other shots to do this with in my own scans, presumably ones taken at high noon...of trees...and such.
And if anybody wants to give this a whirl, feel free to post results in this thread if you want. <a href="http://home.comcast.net/~bhjazz/Infrared_Pg_1.jpg" target="_blank">Page 1</a> <a href="http://home.comcast.net/~bhjazz/Infrared_Pg_2.jpg" target="_blank">Page 2</a> <a href="http://home.comcast.net/~bhjazz/Infrared_Pg_3.jpg" target="_blank">Page 3</a> |
