i'm likin' this.........that bark looks really cool in the sunlight like that.

I like the second much better than the first. You can sorta just follow the line down. On the first, it's distracting to see the other side on the left.

Cadwiz 12-16-2004 06:06 AM

I also like the second one. Skier nailed it.

enough 12-16-2004 08:52 AM

Yup the second one is compositionally the best.

outdoor 12-23-2004 03:51 PM

second one is the best...looks like crystal almost

Jakes 12-23-2004 04:53 PM

thats so sweet, i would have to go with the second picture the way the color comes thru the bark is so sweet

jaded 12-24-2004 08:30 AM

my vote goes to the second one also, although without your naming it \"sunset\", i wouldn\'t be able to tell whether it\'s sunset or autumn sunshine or something else.

BenChuy 12-29-2004 08:03 PM

Second. the light to the Left is distracting from the focus of the picture.

bernadette 12-30-2004 10:15 AM

another shout out for the second.
makes a nice abstract.

did you do any photoshop magic to your pic?
looks like you may have amped up the saturation & something else i can't quite put my finger on...

inharmony 12-30-2004 10:17 AM

I go for second as well. Nice.

Shpoop 12-30-2004 10:43 AM

nope, no saturation. however, the trunk in the background was originally much lighter than the brown part of the one in the foreground, so i selected it with the magic wand and lowered the lightness

Frowning Budah 01-01-2005 04:23 PM

Pretty colors. Nice for an abstract. Kind of hard to tell what is going on otherwise.
