lukethebandgeek 11-09-2004 07:18 PM

Those are pretty. Remind me of the jazz tune Autumn Leaves.

Beautiful pictures, it makes me wish I lived in a place where the leaves actually changed colors.

thanx bern..........great colours,....very vibrant.

man i gotta start shootin' again.......

bernadette 11-09-2004 10:47 PM

kurty[B] : yes. what size do you require? these have all been resized to 700 px width or height (longest side). straight off my camera the greatest size i can offer you is 2048 x 1536. i can resize that to whatever (smaller).

paddyjoe : a compliment from YOU goes right to my head. ;) i bow to your photography skills. i'm a point & shoot hack w/some photoshop knowledge.

flyman : hellz yeah! get out there & shoot again! i've been missing your pics, dawg.

thanks everyone for the kind words. :)
mother nature did most of the art work. autumn is momma natural at her bestest.
and i'm lucky, most years we have colorful trees clear up through christmastime here.

It's like I tell my students bernie, it's not the camera that makes the picture, but the soul pushing the button.

Yours is filled with imagination...

I really like the close up of the leaves in the grass. Thanks!

jujueye 11-11-2004 05:31 PM

Textbook beauty. My gosh. So much impact with the first shots. And this stuff is just under our feet every day. So very nice, bern. Wonderful shots.

JumpinJesus 11-11-2004 07:50 PM

It's so refreshing to see shots of leaves in a non-traditional fashion. It's always great when someone looks at a typically mundane subject in such an interesting way. The macro shot of leaves on the grass is my favorite.

Great shots!

bernadette 11-11-2004 09:07 PM

ah thanks everyone for the nice words. :)
i'm happy that you enjoyed my pics.

the way nature perfectly arranges things just can't be duplicated.
i love the way the leaves fall in such magical perfect non-patterns.

i was out driving yesterday & so wished i'd had my camera on me.
i think tomorrow, i may go out driving purposedly just to see if i can find the same (or similar) visions that i saw yesterday.

the colors here (san jose, ca) are at their peak bestest right now.

brelfielfan 11-12-2004 08:55 AM

wow. amazing. I need to get down to CA and get some pics.
