Here are some of the pictures we took of the aftermath of Ivan on Friday

Most of Clayton and Dillard GA and Franklin NC were flooded. I've never seen real life flooding like this in person....it was awesome and heartbreaking at the same time

These were various places along the way, some places we could barley get thru because the roads were still underwater....I feel so sorry for the people in the area....almost all of it for MILES and I mean 30 or so MILES was under water.

There were things I wanted to get pictures of but because of the people standing around devestated, I did not have the heart to jump out of the car in front of them to take pictures.

I know how you feel. There were so many photos that I could have taken after Hurricane Charley hit here and I just couldn't bring myself to do it because of all the people standing around what used to be their homes and pretty much in a state of shock and disbelief.

Im glad to know Im not the only one that feels that way...my pictures are NO WHERE near as good as the ones you shared with us, so Im glad that the other person that feels that way is you....you contribution to the photography thread was done with both compassion and class :icare:
