Classic Cars in Encinitas, California
Last Thurday I went to a gathering of classic cars in Encinitas, California. I live about 10 minutes north on the beach in Carlsbad and thought I would stop by. There was an obvious focus on woodies and the beach theme. I am nothing but a hack with a digital camera. This is not a thread where I wanted to show my skills, but just one where I had some neat pictures I thought you would like. I had a good time taking them either way.
I have no idea the types of cars or any real details of what the pictures are. I just took pictures of what I liked. I love flames. This one was one of my favorites. This car was owned by the Laguna beach surf club. The outside was cool, but the inside showed that it was a woody that was used as intended. I loved the shifter. I think I just saw Greg Brady just run away screeming. I loved this tail fin and the car maybe had the nicest paint job ever. The photo could never do it justice. I had to mess around with photoshop a bit. I thougth this was a neat hood orniment. You don't see too many green cars this shade these days I wonder where Chrysler got the stying ideas for their new 300C? Original 2005 300C They don't build 'em like they used to. If anyone wants original high res photos of any of these, let me know.

Thanks for the pics. Great job and wonderful views of the cars. You've obviously got an eye for the classics.
