seagull

so....momma here is pissed at me cuz i'm in her territory.

see,we're working by the river and there are shithawks everywhere.anyways, this gull has 3 chicks ....no shots as of yet, momma dive bombs us from one side and the dad from the other.kinda hard to get close to the chicks eh.

so here's a shot of her flyin' right at me.

this gull is a tough one.she flies at you when your back is turned and then she taps you on the head with her feet.she's already tagged 2 of my co-workers.

fuckin hilarious.........i'm tryin to convince them to be a target for the camera as well as the gull.

:D

hopefully pix of the chicks and one of my buddies gettin tagged within the next week

That is a fuckin' cool shot, man! :D

Reminds me of a mockingbird I shot in the ass with my brand new pellet gun when I was a kid.
I saw it on a branch about 20 ft. in front, and about 10 ft. above of me.
I take aim at its' chest and right when I squeezed the trigger it turned around and I hit it in the ass.
It took off, did a 180° turn and zeroed in on me like with your bird, fly, and came right at me.
It scared the bejeezus out of me and I kinda panicked.
I let out a sort of squawk and tried to duck and swing the gun at the same time but all I did was hit myself in the leg when the gun slipped.
The bird missed me and flew into the bushes where it was lost to me.
I never fired at another bird after that. ;)

Those gulls are a tough breed. I saw one in Galveston with only one leg.
We would throw crackers to them and it would get in there and scramble for his share. It says a lot about their spirit the way they overcome difficulties.

Thanks for the great shot, fly. :)

Yeah man! Almost looks like you shoved a green broom handle up that poor birds butt, and left him as some kinda scarecrow(scaregull), so his friends would leave you boys alone.
