Pacific Tree Frog. I'm thinking you are somewhere near the west coast........??? These frogs have such a distinctive call (croak) that many movie sound guys come out to the west coast to record them for movies. Seriously. If you hear the sound of frogs in a movie, its a 95% chance they are Pacific Tree frogs! Nice macro photos, too! Good job!

HAH! It's all I could do to get a pic of them sitting. You should see how many pics of fingers and grass I have (little buggers jumped away just as I took the pic). All they want to do is hop, much to the kids delight.

I guess they are Pacific tree frogs, they sure do croak a lot...all night long

Flyman isn't so sophisticated, he eats them on saltines.
