I've got a lot of geese photo's.

Every summer we get around 20-40 for a good 3 months solid that come to our pond.

And for the last 4 years or so, we've had these two geese that will literally come right up to our patio. We know its the same two since they've got these weird markings on thier chest. Amazinly none of the ones that come to our land ever have tags.

Have photo's of the ones that seem to be fearless of humans.

I had to drive over to Miami last Thursday and always stop while traveling back across Alligator Alley and take some photos. Caught this egret posing for me.

Was on Sanibel Island a couple of afternoons, ago, and found some semi-friendly pelicans, which I guess qualify for waterfowl, right?

There were three pelicans that were posing for me, but this guy seemed to be the most courageous of the bunch.

The next time, I'll bring along some bait fish, so they won't want to fly away. ;-)

I was on Lovers Key (just south of Ft. Myers Beach a few miles), yesterday, and managed to capture a white ibis with my camera. I had no idea, until yesterday, they had blue eyes!

No, that (the one I photographed) Great Blue Heron was on the very southern tip of Captiva (at the bridge where the islands used to separate, but no longer do) and South Sea Plantations, as you know, is on the northern tip of Captiva. Whether it is the same Heron you are refering to or not, I have no idea. Great Blues are a rather frequent bird down here.

Nope, Mother Nature decided they needed to be one, I guess. You still drive over the bridge that connects Sanibel and Captiva, but you can walk from one to another on the sand, also. I remember when people used to drown between the two islands, from the swift current that separated them, but not no more, so perhaps that is a good thing.

The next time I drive out there, I'll stop and take a photo of the area to show you it is one, now.
