Just a note: Unless those are your cars, it would be suggested to blur out the license plates.
Nice pics btw.

Thanks for pointing that out. I originally did blur them out. However, I must have deleted those ones a while ago. It is now fixed ;)

I assume its a b&w pic that you edited the color into?
Sure adds a lot of feeling to the picture.
Not to mention the dramatic celestial light.

That is a shot of the Space Needle reflected in one of the surfaces of the EMP shot on Fuji Velvia 100 and then scanned with a CoolScan IV ED. Anybody else got any questions?

The Fuji Velvia: I just got a roll if it from a friend for Christmas so can't wait to get out and give it a try. Beautiful color saturation.

Its cones. There are something like 120 Million rods in one eye, and only 6 to 7 million cones.

By the way, the Velvia: yeah, I really need to thank that guy for getting me back into photography. He gave me some Velvia, Some Ilford Delta for my Holga, and a few others. He's a pretty cool dude. I'm really enjoying getting back at it.

Anyway, I've derailed this post long enough. More posts, please!

Click on the "Post Reply" button.

In the next page, you'll see a dialog box and on the bottom, there is a section called "Attach File". Click on the browse button and select the pic that you want to attach.

Btw, you can only attach one photo per post.

Here's a thread I had forgotten all about. When I think about how stupid I was to lie down so close to a gator bigger than me and so close to me... he could have bolted for me and very possibly have hurt my camera. I should thank my lucky stars. Somewhere, I have a photo of me when I took that photo. I need to hunt it down and share it.

I have had no luck getting that photograph published although I have not tried very hard. I have a journalism background. In the past when I took a few good photos I would write an article and package the photos with the article and get them published in my local paper. I may do that with the volleyball photo. I think it is my best one of the year.

It is not easy getting photos published. I'm not going to give up my day job yet. This is just a hobby for me and it doesn't give me a hangover in the morning!

This is my wife(redhead) my aunt blond, my cousin Soren and myself in Lubeck Germany about 10 years ago. She now has Liver cancer and is fighting for her life. My MorMor just died so I think she ask God to trade her life for her daughters because she has 2 little boys. Anyway this is a favorite of mine for that reason.

TB, I'm not much for praying, but my thoughts are with both you and your wife. I wish her the best with her struggle.

I love this stuff. There are some photos that are just "awe" inspiring yet.. all the others are just awesome as well...
Its just cool how you can take a picture of something that seems ordinary and mundane yet with the right angle, focus, or closeness its filled with vigor. :)

I have a bunch from when I went to North Caronlina this last summer that I'm proud of. All digicams, but there are a few that turned out quite nice.

I'm a fan of angles in photos...

This is by far my favorite... I'll have to root around and find the larger res of it.. I know i have one set at 1280x1024 or so res as it was a background for a long time.
The picture I think is great.. then I noticed the seagull. :)

... I might just have to make a thread on here to devote to said vacation, these are my favorites, but there are more that I like a lot too, heh. :)
