Yosemite photos
I spent a day in Yosemite last week and took a bunch of photos. Here's some of the better ones
First view of the valley driving from the west on Rt 120 http://home.hvc.rr.com/dwootton/tfp/136-3625_IMG.JPG View from valley floor http://home.hvc.rr.com/dwootton/tfp/136-3629_IMG.JPG Bridal Veil falls, 600 ft high http://home.hvc.rr.com/dwootton/tfp/136-3633_IMG.JPG View where Yosemite Falls should be. Look where the slight discoloration and notch to left of the center of the picture. This falls dries out sometime in July or August. http://home.hvc.rr.com/dwootton/tfp/136-3640_IMG.JPG Another view of Yosemite Falls http://home.hvc.rr.com/dwootton/tfp/136-3642_IMG.JPG View of the valley from Washburn Point http://home.hvc.rr.com/dwootton/tfp/137-3703_IMG.JPG View of the valley from Glacier Point http://home.hvc.rr.com/dwootton/tfp/137-3711_IMG.JPG View of valley floor about 3000 feet below from Glacier Point http://home.hvc.rr.com/dwootton/tfp/137-3715_IMG.JPG |
Nice phots and beautiful scenery. Yosemite is one of my favorite places and your pictures remind me that I have to return soon.
Thanks. |

DANG MAN thats....thats.......b.e.a.u.t.i.l.f.u.l
|
i have been there, but it was when i was small, i dont remember it being near that spectacular
|
These pictures really don't present the full feeling of the place. I had been there once before and have wanted to get back for years. When I was standing near the top of Sentinel Dome as well as the lookouts at Washburn Point and Glacier Point, I was just amazed at the scale of the place. This is one of the few places I have seen in the United States that is a must see.
