Sunrise in the Columbia Gorge
 

One of the most beauteous areas of the Pacific Northwest is the Columbia River Gorge. Here's Sunday morning sunrise yesterday.

tropicdiver: I have a crummy tripod that I carry everywhere; it's so lightweight that the wind was vibrating it a lot and I had to time my shutter release for when there were no gusts. Someday I'll get myself a Bogen tripod.

Damnfinn: Sympathies on selling your camera equipment. I did the same between undergrad school and grad school, thinking I'd replace it after I finished my degree. It took 30 years for that to happen, I hope it doesn't take that long for you...:hmm:
