Steel Bones
Once a month I drive past this spot.
This morning I remembered to bring my camera. It looked really cool with all the snow drifts this past winter. You can't see it from the road during the summer. It's hidden by the corn field. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...tringy/sb1.jpg http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...tringy/sb3.jpghttp://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h...tringy/sb2.jpg I didn't notice the name on the newer spire until I uploaded the photos. http://i253.photobucket.com/albums/h.../bonesteel.jpg |
The stones denoting those laid to rest are restless. What a demonstration of how dynamic soil is. I am very aware through this photo set of how we are subsumed so readily once the caregivers move away.
