I think they are little crabapples. I'm not sure, though.
They look a little different than most. The leaves tell me crabapple. Hmmm. |

The view makes it seems as though I'm a robin on a branch. Did you only look up, or were you more "adventurous" in your shot-spotting? |
I had both feet firmly planted on the ground.
The tree is only two or more feet taller than I. |

Thanks woods.
Some crabapples up north here, (Wisconsin) are loaded with fruit. Some varieties hold there fruit all winter and it's what the male Robins survive on when they come back in early spring, when there is still much snow on the ground. |

I've never made it to Wisconsin but I do love the north New England style. You get 4 out of 4 seasons every year unlike Georgia's 2-3. |

I went to Mendon Pond Park almost every weekend with the pooch. Never got to see it in Fall... now I want to go back.
