New Stuff
 

I've taken a few trips since the end of classes and I've been trying to look at things a bit differently - breaking away from so much digital and shooting more film, toning down the processing and looking for things that are a lot uglier.

I've found so far that most things end up monochrome.

Any thoughts are appreciated. Sorry about the watermarks, these are linked directly from my flickr.

A big fan of your eye, Manic :) I love that street with the water over brick. Layers and layers. Very cool indeed!

Great shots! The gas lids with the shadows from the vent pipes is pretty awesome. Did you use ambient light for these or strobes?

Thanks guys. The first from chelsea is my favorite as well and the last shot it all ambient. Only the second shot was captured with a strobe.

very nice. i particularly like the first and last. i kinda wish i could see the upper horizontal wires more sharply in the first one tho. i made me think of silvertone (is that what it's called? i think that's right...ugh.)
