Breaking in the new camera
So I got a 5D Mark II early last month, but I haven't broken it in really until tonight.
Sharing some photos from tonight. Of course comments and critiques welcomed. The first girl is Elizabeth, like the last thread. The two others are photographer friends of mine. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3485/...d271bb08_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3094/...90ecd6e4_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3083/...203386e5_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3345/...6aa38a3f_b.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3486/...f0d78ba0_b.jpg |
Softbox camera left?
Nicely done Trent. I love how sharp the eyes are in the first shot. |
Danke Manic.
Strip box on the left with a 40 degree grid, and on the right a cross light with the same acting as a hair light and also kicker. |
Interesting light set up. I'm taking my first few steps into the the strobist world so it's nice to see how a great image came together - thanks.
How's the Mark II? Too rich for my blood... |
It's a wonderful camera. It has the same feel and magic as my 5d when I first got it. I wish it had the ergonomics of the Mark III but it's stil very nice.
Strobist is wonderful, you're gonna have a a blast with it. Here's my strobist kit. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3059/...26433939_b.jpg |
Very nice. I've been eyeballing strobist equipment. I may make the plunge.
