CHALLENGE: Animal Photographs
I was looking through some of the photos I've taken. I came across this photo of a cat I came across on one of my walks. I'm quite in love with it. I know I'm not the only one who has taken photos of animals/pets. I would love to see your guys favorite animal photographs.

My SO's cat, Vex... he's very photogenic.
Dreamnight at the Zoo... it was a blast. A park in Sarasota around Thanksgiving And my brother's cat, Booger, trying to eat the neighborhood peacock, Peetie. Booger is 13 months old. And huge.

Sue, my roommates have a cat that looks just like Noelle.
Here is another of my roommates' cat, Blixa: cat.jpg I love everyone's pictures. Really great shot of the praying mantis too.

Pound portraits.
Went to the pound yesterday. And even though we have been looking for a dog for a while, I only stopped by intending to take pictures. I had pretty much left the decision up to my middle daughter who had taken the lead in the search. But I ended up finding a dog there, I'm happy to say. But these were some of the other dogs. Not great photos, but it was pretty dark in there and I was trying to be inconspicuous.
This dog... really liked to jump. What a face... This guy was the mellowest terrier, I've ever met. Pathologically mellow. Poor baby. Love me... This was a fabulous dog, but too large for us... I wish I had gotten a better shot of these two. There were in neighboring kennels and would periodically do this little simultaneous jumping dance. sweet beagle... one of the many pit bull mixes...the majority of dogs we have seen in the pounds are pit bull mixes...unfortunately for them heartbreaker sweeter than he looks, lol

It's a little blurry but here's a baby sparrow that was sitting by my side door the other day. He moved off soon after.
