eagle pic - love the sharp edges of the eagles beak, feathers and eyes.
serious, majestic and authoratarian |
I love that last pic (of the road).
|
my favorite is the chipmunk!! love the close ups. you must have great zoom lens..
|
Amazing pictures! You live in country side?
What kinda zoom lens do you have? Thanks a bunch for sharing the pictures |

zooms really aren't needed for good close-ups. just a good lens. |

Cool photos dude. For some reason the pics of the corn and the road brought back memories of my childhood..... I also like the squirrel pic a lot. Eagles always rock too.
|
Thanks much, everyone!
I finally went and checked my camera—it is a Fuji FinePix S5100. No separate lens, just the one on the camera, and no tripod. It isn't an SLR but it does offer some flexibility with the settings. I'll try to pay closer attention to what settings I'm using next time. I have much to learn but the encouragement always helps. :) |
Bored out of my skull at work.
I came across this guy at the train station this morning. In real life he is very green... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3243/...80d9d2125b.jpg I made him grey to match the weather (and my mood): http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3034/...db2e8f40_o.jpg More fiddling with saturation: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3099/...10c924f0_o.jpg Just watching the seconds tick by. |
wow! I have almost the exact same camera. Mine is Fuji FinePix S3100. I think yours is just the updated version of mine :)

I figure I won't let myself get a DSLR until I start taking quality pictures regularly enough that I'd earn it and would truly benefit from the upgrade. |
I am a huge fan of Fuji. I love my Finepix 3800. I took the shot in my avatar with it.
I liked the grasshopper before you made him gray! I am also diggin the eagle. |
Two more from this morning:
