What's a macro? What's goings on with the goats? What's this red thing up in the tree?

That was a sunset. I'm asleep by the time the sun rises. =P
Jetee - Macro is a setting you can put your camera on for closeups. That way it will focus real well. Mine doesn't work. ): Well, I should say that I don't know how to work mine. The goats are my friend's. She calls them goatie mamas. If you walk into their pasture, they all come running to you. They love attention. And, I think the red thing in the tree is a leaf. Some of the leaves are starting to turn because of how cool it's getting at night. It might not be, though. |

ideally when you take a picture in macro mode, say a flower, an insect or a coin... The result photo will have the object in its life size! now that is ideal case called 1:1. In life size every minute detail of the object can be expected to be crystal clear.
as RangerJoe said I use macro to take extreme closeups with clear focus. I am not still good in using it. gotta learnt it Last edited by curiousbear; 10-04-2008 at 10:42 AM.. |

I and my wife would like to visit a country house for a week end. A farm with cattle, goats, horses, ducks and pigs would be ideal. We live in Olympia, WA. Anything with in 100 miles is ok. Can anyone offer? I can pay for the night stay, food, etc. Be a friend and please share your heaven a bit with us
