Chicago Air & Water Show
 

OK, this is my first foray into Photography, so please be gentle.

I went to our usual rooftop for the annual Air & Water Show on Saturday, and took some pictures. These are the untouched versions. I've played around with a few edits, but I generally try not to retouch too much. Any thoughts on anything I could do to improve these, though?

Sweet pics, especially of the close-ups. What rooftop were you on?

Awww reminds me of home :) I think you did a good job...are you shooting manual or automatic?? You can adjust your shutter speed so you can actually "catch" the planes in midair and they will be in focus.

Fine photos. Makes me feel really American. Fine work on the single plane closeups.

the angels were just here in seattle....swell show !!!....fine pics!
