Let's go racin!
Ok, I know there's at least one other person....somewhere...who likes races.
Just got back from Bristol and used the new A100. Yes, the cars were moving. Quite fast, actually. Bristol grows from a town of less than 40k to over 200k during race week. These jets were almost impossible to get. My boy, #88, picking off another as he goes......left. My other boy, #55, leads. For about 5 minutes..... Wanted to see how clearly I could shoot across to the other side. I'm liking this camera. Rush hour.... Jr. leaves another one in his dust Winner. Yes, they DO go right, Hal!! Considering that they were going close to 100mph, the shots came out amazingly clear. |

I like Formula One races best. I've been to quite a few races (my dad's a former rally driver and loves watching races now) in the last 10 years or so (Indy 500 a couple of times, Brickyard, a F1 Grand Prix or two, and some smaller races at Mid-Ohio) and it can be pretty fun. I don't follow the drivers as much as I did when I was a kid (loved Mario Andretti), I usually just pick one to root for before the race starts and hope for the best.
I prefer horse races, though. Less headache and sunburn at the end of the day!
