Hiking pics
I went hiking yesterday and brought my camera. Here are a few things that caught my eye.

Beautiful place. Where is this?

How close were you able to get to the salamander?
|
I actually picked it up off the trail and set it on a rock to get that pic. It only held still long enough for me to get that one shot, and I didn't want to harrass it any more.

Breathtaking photos
I thought I recognized Umbellularia californica (the dominant moss-covered tree in your second photo). These trails look similar to the trails Tt and I visited today: Huckleberry Preserve and Sibley. I've never been hiking near San Jose, your photos make me want to. |
ppl we need to have a Bay Area meetup

Great pics. Looks like great hiking terrain. The salamander looked like he enjoyed having his photograph taken. (may have been his first time...)

beautiful shots of a beautiful place ...I'm expecting a leprechaun to jump out any second ...just today, of course.

That's some purdy scenery. Wish we had that kind of stuff around here.
My favorite is the first. The last is just too underexposed to comment about. You might be able to bring up the exposure in post but it will be really noisy. |
