I think it was snoozing quite nicely. |
God I miss Seattle. Thanks for bringing me 'home' again.

I will forever call that building the Columbia Seafirst Center. I don't care if they ditched the Seafirst a long time ago.
My family always had an annual tradition of going to the Top of the Hilton for Mother's Day brunch when I was a kid. The best part about it was getting to see all of the skyscrapers of Seattle from a different perspective. It's also why I love the ferry ride across the Sound, or getting a peek of the skyline from the beach at Illahee. Also, does anyone else get all nostalgic when they see a picture of Mt. Rainier? Every time I go visit my folks, seeing that mountain just gets me. |

Have taken any pictures of the Freemont Troll?
For those who have never seen it that is a real Volkswagen under his hand. http://q.queso.com/images/FremontTroll.jpg |
I was born downtown and have been stamped with a Seattle gene that requires I return often. It's something like the return of salmon to spawn, without the bad ending. :D
Nice pics, Shauk, and I can sympathize with missing the last ride home. I'm not up for the swim, though. |
