Getting film developed and scanning ?s
Alright, how do you go about getting your BW/color film developed and scanning in the strip? My biggest issue right now is dust. I bought a flatbed scanner on leave that has a negative filmstrip attachment. It holds the film in place and allows the scanner to calibrate to scan negatives, positive film and other types. As I said, I just can't get rid of the damned dust. I'd rather de-dust my strip rather than trying to software edit it in the PP. Any tips?

Try using a dust-blowing bulb - it looks like a rubber ball with a nozzle. You could also use an air filter / ioniser in the room to reduce the amount of dust in it before scanning. Avoid wiping the film as it can damage it, although some people use an anti-static cloth.
