Sailing Columbia
Astoria has hundreds of old, dead pilings along the waterfront that make for some interesting photos. I took half a dozen pictures of this sailboat before I got one that was fairly acceptable. This was around the same time as the bridge silhouette in my "Bridges" thread. The sun was just heading for the horizon.
I'm just getting back into photography after many years of doing nothing except "snapshots". Here are some more of Willamette & Columbia rivers.

That resolution makes a big difference...I like when people post that size, hehe. It's not really what I meant by definition, but your point makes a lot of sense in the picture. I meant manually put in some definition via Photoshop or something. But now that I can see more clearly, I like the haziness (especially of the landscape on the horizon).
