The last day I was in Tennessee, I visited the Museum of Appalachia, where they had collections of personal items from people who lived in the area. They also had relocated some buildings from the area to the museum. I found out that tis museum has just recently become affiliated with the Smithsonian http://www.foxnews.com/wires/2007May...lachia,00.html

These are some homemade toys. The train at the top of the picture is a replica of a circus train. A boy was so excited by seeing the circus that he spent three years making the replica.
