nice pics... I went there for 3 days by myself at the begining of the summer.
I really like the Desert Landscape one, really cool hiked nearly every trail there... was hoping to do delicate in the evening so I could be there for sunset... but was just barely too late, but it was still a cool hike. the utah desert is really beautiful... cant wait to get back probably going to canyonlands for spring break... should be awesome, might hit up arches again for a day or 2 cuz my friend hasnt been there. |
Very, very....
Jealous... :) I love the colors, the composition, wish that view was closer to where I live... ;) |
wow, that is intense and gorgeous. I like the composition and the angles.
my favorite would have to be the first one, I like the way you framed it and it feels as thought I am right there in the picture. nice work. sp |
Stan, are these recent? I'm flying there next Thursday for the Thanksgiving Holidaze. How's the weather and crowds, now? Some great shots.
|
Thanks,
These were taken last weekend. Weather is cold, but dry and crowds are non-existant. I like the top one as well, but I couldn't figure out why. My wife pointed out the spiral shadow on the arch, I think it tends to draw me in. |
nice work as always, stan.. really beautiful pictures

Fantastic shots! They really are awe inspiring...and then the glyphs at the end caught me by surprise, just didn't expect that for some reason....you know it was probably done by a bunch of pesky teenagers, 200-300-400 years ago!
