Old and new
I'm on transition between jobs so I had some time to go thru some older and newer pictures I took these last 6 months or so. I'd encourage everybody to give critique. If I see a reply with nothing but 'great' text I'll delete it
I'm sorry no borders and stuff. First we have two photos from my summer trip to Kyoto. Rock garden, Kyoto A side alley near Geiko business area, Kyoto We had some friends coming in, decided to do a road trip to ...Hokkaido! A mountain near our campsite I think we settled down nicely We've always wanted to go and swim with the dolphins. So off we go see them! Place is Miyakijima, remote island, population 250. On ferry, approaching Miyakijima Weather betrayed us... Dolphins, here we come

You were asking for suggestions, so I'll make a couple comments hopefully to help you out. As always this is just MHO.
I really like the border on the rock garden. It might be nice to see what the shot would look like from a lower angle. This would reduce the distance between the border and the large rock... Lighting texture and color are really nice in the Geiko business area. I like the mountain shot. Maybe a little less sky, and less of the forground or an article of interest in the foreground. "I think we settled down nicely" This shot made me smile... For some reason I keep picturing someone having a pitchfork... I really like the shape of the trees in Weather betrayed us. It almost looks like a pair of legs sticking up. A little less of the lower right corner might focus more on that, or maybe a little closer to reduce the amount of fog between the trees and you. Thanks for sharing
