Borla, I'm in love with your dog. I will puppysit ANYTIME, even if it means not going to sleep. Seriously, Stanley totally owns me.

Haha! I'll be sure and call you next time he wants to go outside in the pouring rain at 3AM.

This is his "I know I was being bad, but if I try to look cute can I get away with it?" look.

Here are a few other random ones from this morning.

This last one is from just two weeks ago, in the same part of the kitchen, just to give you reference on how much he's grown since then.

If I were Borla, my house would be loaded with framed baby pics of Stanley.

Hell I might even print a couple and hang them on my walls ffs. Too cute to be real!

You know what's funny? We had a pic of our 4 year old nephew in a green polo shirt on our end table in the living room. My sister gave us a framed copy of the picture of Stanley in his green polo shirt from when we first got him. We put the two next to each other, and it looks hilarious.

Ok, I'm REALLY, REAALLLLLY not trying to bore you all with Stanley pics, or overwhelm this thread with them. But he got to hang out with a new friend today, and it was a riot.

One of my best friends has a pitbull. He's actually the grandson of the dog used in the "Little Rascals" movie that came out about 12-15 years ago. Very well behaved/trained, and just a generally great dog. So, after waiting several weeks for Stanley to get big enough that we figured he wouldn't get completely ran roughshod over, we decided to put the two together for some play time.

It was HILARIOUS. Stanley kept trying to get on the back of the pit to show he was dominant (you can see in almost all the pics his tail is up like he's a little tough man ). He also kept trying to bite the face of the pit when they were running and playing. He would literally leap at his head every chance he got. :rotfl: But the pit was very tolerant of him. A couple times he puffed his chest way out and would try to stand over Stanley, but every time Stanley would just walk around him and try to climb on his back. Then, when the pit would try to hump him, he's just scoot backwards real fast, come out from between his hind legs, and go try to bite his face. :spit: A couple time the pit was able to exert his dominance, which I think is a good thing for my pup to learn. We plan to get them together a lot in the coming months. His dog loves the exercise, mine can use the socialization. It should be great to watch the transition too, since right now Stanley is 1/5th the pit's size, and he should end up being literally twice his size.

They also have a blue heeler. But he was NOT impressed by Stanley wanting to play rough. He actually nipped at Stanley half a dozen times, which is probably good for him, since the lil guy likes to nip himself and doesn't realize sometimes it actually hurts.

How would the media cover the story of a 10 week old puppy playing with a Pit and a Blue Heeler and only getting bit by the Heeler?

Sorry if you guys are getting bored with the puppy's pics, just don't reply if it's getting old. :rotfl: I'm just excited to watch the lil bugger grow.

You're supposed to be excited. He's your new son! Mine is my world. I talk about him like he's human, with 'oh you won't believe what he did this morning,' etc. My Mother talks about him to her friends as if he's her actual grandson.

Post away! I, for one, enjoy the pics .

Our cat is not real fond of him. But she is slowly growing more tolerant of him. He goes back and forth from trying to play and chase her to sometimes sitting really, really still and trying to slowly edge closer to her like he just wants her to be his friend.

So today she was napping in the guest bedroom as she often does, and I decided to see what would happen if I gave him a boost up onto the bed.

It starts out with him behaving pretty good, and slowly getting more hyper trying to get her to react.

Finally she got sick of him edging around and trying to get her attention. She hissed a few times, but he didn't back off.

So she tried hitting him.

I have already told my wife that if she leaves me, I get him, because he's a chic magnet. I swear every woman in the neighborhood comes out to see him when I take him for a walk. And I am pretty sure he already has grown to like women better. He's gonna be a lil pimp.

People keep saying he's all paws and head, I just don't see it.

Here are this Sunday's pictures in his bed.

Also, here are few others from last night. He and I went and visited my family, and he got to play with his two "cousins" for a while. They are Boston Terriers, and not quite sure what to think of him. After that we stopped by my buddy's house, the one who has the Pitbull and Blue Heeler that I've posted pics of before.

After about three hours of playing, he was beyond his endurance big time. He walked in the house (after snoring the entire ride home) and plopped down as you see below. He loves pillows for some reason.

After I woke him up and took him out, he made a beeline for his crate and plopped down. This morning it was a couple minute fight trying to make him leave his crate, he was evidently still tuckered out. :rotfl:

He loves the pillows cuz they're squishy! Although the bed you've been posting pics of is great, you might want to think about getting him a squishy bed. My dog also loves pillows - blankets too - because they're soft and squishy. But I got him this bed and now I can't even get him to lay on the couch with me anymore lol.

side note - yes, he's fat, I know it's my fault, shut up.

He's cute.

My problem is that I can't find a squishy bed big enough for what he'll be full grown for under $100 or so.

We took him for a walk and he was so pooped he walked straight in to his bed and laid down before we could even take his leash or collar off.

Later, he got out of his bed, gathered several of his toys in the corner (some of them were there, but he picked up the red ball and the big white stuffed animal and carried it there before laying down :rotfl: ), and plopped down for another nap.

Here are a few other random shots from tonight.

If I'm overdoing it with these Stanley pics, I can start a new thread or stop posting, but I'm so excited about how he's doing that I just can't resist sharing unless ya'll I shouldn't.

We dogsat this weekend, the two dogs that I posted pictures of in this thread a month ago (8-29).

I always joke that the Pitbull is obviously a horrible and deadly dog, so it's only a matter of time before he attacks, this is a great picture that demonstrates that.

Here is Stanley getting his revenge.

In all seriousness, the Pit and Stanley just loved to play rough. Stanley could hold his own, though the Pit was obviously bigger and stronger. Even though it sounded like I was holding dogfights in my back yard, as soon as I told them to chill out they'd both calm down and start wagging their tails and sniffing each other.

I also got a few pics of all three dogs together. You can see it in the Blue Heeler's eyes in the one pic below that he hates Stanley's guts, which he does. :rotfl: Every time Stanley and the Pit would be wrestling around, if I didn't have hold of the Heeler's leash he would start snarling and rush Stanley and bite him, as if he had to protect his buddy the Pit. His teeth weren't even sharp enough, or jaw strong enough, to break Stanley's thick skin, but the Heeler definitely had a stronger protective streak than the Pit.

All of them are fairly well trained though, as you can see. How else could you get them to pose like this?

Oh, and Stanley's new tough guy sign.

Here is Stanley a couple seconds ago. You can tell he is WIPED OUT from having company all weekend.

I took Stanley by the breeder's today, and asked them if I could try to snap a few pics of Stanley with his dad. For reference, I threw in a picture we took a week after we got him, also with his dad.

We also had his pit bull friend over this week, that I've posted pictures of earlier in this thread. If you compare them, you can see Stanley has grown quite a bit. 57lbs as of yesterday in fact, at just 4 1/2 months!!

And after a couple hours together, they both zonked out.
