Hee hee, Flyman, I love all your animal pictures... it looks like you live in an idyllic corner of BC (I'm from Seattle, not too far away). What a great life you've got there!

Also, her on the treadmill. I can get a whole series of these if she keeps playing on it.

Oh, how I love this thread. The cat on treadmill clip had me DYING of laughter... wow. Great, great stuff.
And while I love all the dogs (and kitties, and horses, and everything else) posted on this thread... I wanted to tell you, Bernadette, that your dogs CRACK ME UP. Their expressions are SOOO funny... (especially the one with the half-brown eye).

Not my pets, strictly speaking. This is a picture mum took of the new litter of pups. There's ten of them, an ungodly number, and if all goes well every last one of them will end up as somebody's pet.
Onesnowyowl likened them to mole rats, which I suppose isn't so far off. Anyone looking to buy a bullmastiff within the next 8-10 weeks?

Just a quick update on the pups. They're a month old now and the phone's already ringing off the hook for them.
This is three of the six girls. There's also four boys, making ten altogether. It's amazing that there were that many and that they've all survived. EDIT - I paid all that money to go back to school and I still can't bloody count. Clearly there are four pups in this picture, not three, meaning this is the boys and not the girls.

TFP Pets!
Here's mine!
My cat Dodger, he loves to lay on my desk when it's clean enough. I've had him for 10 years! And my dog Fez. Fez wouldn't stay still long enough! Very excitable guy, I love him! I've had him for about 6 years.

Haven't been posting much, too busy moving in to our new house, but I thought I'd pop in today since my sweet girl proudly presented us with four beautiful, healthy, fat boy pups Monday afternoon. The pictures I have are horrid, from my cell, but I thought I'd share them anyway... As soon as I have some good pix I'll post those. To remind y'all, since the puppies look like guinea pigs right now and not dogs, I have dachshunds. The proud mama is a black and tan short haired double dapple and the papa is a solid black short haired. All the puppies are black and white dappled... Two are black and tan like mama, and the other two are black and white.
This is the puppy we're planning on keeping. He's black and white and dark gray full body dappled. This one is black and tan and white. He and the next puppy look a LOT alike, though the black in this one's coat doesn't seem to have any gray dapple. This one is black and tan and white, and I can see some gray dappling in his coat, but I'm not sure if it will come out more visibly or not. This little guy is solid black except for the white around his neck and the big white patch on his head. He looks the most like a guinea pig right now.

Well, I picked up the sister of Flyman's puppy this afternoon. My kids and I haven't picked a name yet, so she's called pup for now. The red dot on her forehead is lipstick so we could tell her apart from the others in the litter.

She's beautiful. You could name her Bindi.

Oh, please keep the lab pics coming, I love them all... I had a golden lab when I was a kid, and all these pictures remind me so much of him. What sweet little puppies they are.... They make me smile.

Here's my most recent JRT. We rescued him about a year ago. He was found as a stray, and taken in by a rescue organization the day he was scheduled to be euthanized. He came with the name "Mikey", but since I already have a JRT, I call this dog "Dudder". (As in "the-other")
