[snapshot] Mud in Motion

One good thing about more than a week of steady rain... There is plenty of mud to play in... Our new dogs were having blast, and I tried to capture the sense of motion of two dogs bolting around the back yard... Looked like fun...

I hope they didn't get in the house without a proper hosedown; that could have been bad.

Looks like fun.

Actually we gave them a bath and shampoo, with the hose on the deck... Then lots of towel rubbing, and quiet time on their pillows to fully dry... Not a bad time at all...

Very nice photos that are full of energy and action. I can easily feel myself taken away to the site of these photos. I think this set of photos are very good and well presented.

Here they are clean... On the left with the two brown spots around her eyes is Luna. A Nine year old, about 40 pound, English Springer Spaniel. On the right is Luna's Daughter, with one brown spot is Sophie. She is seven years old, and 29 pounds. We just got them a week ago from the English Springer Spaniel Rescue. We really lucked out.. They are wonderful dogs, very eager to please.

Hee hee, I like your doggies.

Pictures 6 and 8 are my favorites... I like the stillness of the dog's body in the middle, with everything moving around it. Very cool.

To capture the sense of motion, I hand held the camera, and while shooting manually paned to follow the dogs as they were running around...

Like your bitches... I know, sophomoric, but what did you expect, freakylongname? When do you not want to do lunch again? or perhaps a BBQ at my house? Even better if it's at yours. LOL.
