For anyone with pre-teens, Zoom is a favorite TV show. They often play the game, "Fannie Dooley." It goes like this: Fannie Dooley likes kittens but not cats. Fannie Dooley likes butter but not fat. Fannie Dooley likes jello but not slime. Fannie Dooley likes Missouri but not Colorado. (I'm not positive I'm spelling Fannie Dooley right -- but you have the idea. Also, I admit I got this idea from the children's book thread. I hope this can be just as fun.)

We like to make up our own:

Fannie Dooley likes kissing but not lips.
Fannie Dooley likes doggy style but not sex.

(If you haven't gotten it yet, she like things with double letters.)

Zoom is a great show. There's a lot there in addition to the Fannie Dooley game. Love of Chair was utterly hilarious.

The Ubby Bubby language is a lot of fun too.

An e-friend of mine who enjoys some late night verbal sparing said she had kids who watched Zoom but that she never heard or knew what or who Fanny Doolie [Fannie?] was.

So while I was teasing her with a few made-up FD's I tried to visit the Zoom web site to find any page there to show here to satisfy her curiosity.

Guess what? They had nothing! So I Google'd "FD" and found this web page -- which incidentally is how I came to join TFP. So I guess Fanny ... Fannie Doolie likes funny forums but not posting in general?

BTW ~ at one point while I was literally torturing my friend with so many FD's, and she simply couldn't see the forest for the trees, she said things like, "FD makes no sense..." and "FD is a bitch!"

It was, to say the least, a riot.
