Birth Announcement
I am a bit slow on this, but we moved in the process to. On the day we moved July 2, my wife went into labor. Daughter was born on July 3 6 lb 8 oz, and 19 3/4 inches. Mom and daughter are doing well
we are adjusting, but learning every day. Who knew babies get hicups. Who knew it is hard to tell if they are breathing when they are swaddled and sleeping (ok nervous dad there probably) who knew babies prefer to be lucent and awake the most at 2 in the morning. like I said, learning new things everyday, and am sleep deprived, but would not trade it for anything. |

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!
There's nothing better in the world than becoming a parent. My son is almost 5 months old now and the time has really flew by. I have over 400 pics of him (thank God for digital cameras) and to see how much he has grown and changed in such a short time is amazing but loving every min. of it! Enjoy every second you get to spend with your beautiful daughter! |

Congratulations! Little girls are so adorable. There will be many more 'I didn't know...' moments down the road, but you will do fine. Enjoy every minute because one day she will be a teenager...

kick ass!
now get off the computer and go love on that baby! or go to sleep. zzzzzzz.... in a way, i sorta miss getting up at 2 in the morn with Little Dude. i still wake up in the middle of the night often (like now) and go in and check on him. my sister has 4 kids ages 3 to 12. i asked her is she still goes in and checks on them, and her answer was a very fast "yes. every night. and i have to touch them." i thought that was pretty sweet. so just because they get big, doesn't mean you can't still love 'em like they were newborns. thanks for bringing us all back to the newborn days.

Congratulations!!
My favorite time with my daughter were those 2-3 am feedings....she and I could be alone and I could tell her all the things she had no way of understanding and all my hopes for her....and she could see that her mother had a thing for making chocolate chip cookies in the middle of the night enjoy these days....they wont last long!!

Congrats! Our little guy is 2 1/2 months now. We got him to sleep through the night by waking him up every two hours during the day. We do this by changing him, feeding him, playing with him, etc. It works every time!
Enjoy your daughter -- girls are very special. I adore my two!

Just some updates, she sleeps about 4 hours at a stretch now, still on milk from the source, but occasionally pumped to a bottle. She seems to be able to hold her head up by her own accord in stretches. (this makes me think she is very advanced, but could be normal)
Proud father still amazed by the little thing she does To quote Gorden Sumner Every little thing she does is magic |
