Catholic Church Puts Out Warning Against Subversive Subcultures!(faked email)
I figured this was the best place to put this. If mods think otherwise, please move it.

Anyone has any opinions on this? I'd reply, but I don't know how tolerant some people are, so I won't take my chances. Things that do make me cringe in disgust are points 27, 28, 29, 31, 32, 33, and 34. EDIT: According to the forums that posted this, this is the church of origin. In case anyone wants to write letters of protest or something.

To be fair, the first 20 or so are just examples of good parenting: 'if your kid is into weird shit...do something about it.'
As often as we rail against the church for trying to ban video games and movies, this at least encourages parents to get invovled in their kids activities. They had me sold right up to the 'Count Chocula' entry.

Why is any religion that isn't theirs a "cult?" And people wonder why religion isn't allowed in schools. To all the righties who want the ten commandments in schools, are you willing to allow the teachings of islam, buddhism and other far east religions in that same school as well? If not, then christianity doesn't get to be in the school either. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Apparently, this new SC justice nominee supports religion in schools. If that happens, then all religions will have to be represented and all children will have to learn about all of them because not all children in this country are catholic or christian. That's the melting pot that is America. That's what freedom of religion means. Bush doesn't get it, Roberts sure as hell doesn't get it and apparently no one the right gets it either since they seem to think that christianity is the end all and be all of religion in the world.

Or maybe you could find the other thread about this hoax posted on the 'general' board (and referenced in this thread) and rant about it there. -bear

Well, I see no reason for this to remain ongoing.
