Allergies and Food Allergies
Three things to consider.
1. According to some reading I've done Allergies are far more common in developed countries, particularly those that have a clean fetish like the USA. Supposedly the lack of exposure to germs, dirt and other grime makes our body hyper sensitive to allergens. 2. If you have a choice and your kid is on the way or just starting out don't forget that breast feeding helps reduce allergies later in life. 3. If your son/daughter has food allergies and they're not the life threatening kind you may want to try an organic/pesticide-free version of the food. I used to get sick/reactions from eating apples until I started eating non-waxed organic apples. It turns out I was very sensitive to several types of pesticides they were spraying on apples and other veggies/fruits. Also, I grew out of some of my allergies later in life so hang in there.
