A freethinkers/atheist/agnostic/whatever book discussion community. Every two months we vote on and choose a book to read and discuss. At the end of the period we often invite the book's author to come and appear in a chat session with us.
There are also other sections of the forum, unrelated to any particular book, where we discuss science, philiosophy, religion, politics and other such topics.

The Fallacy Files

A very useful site which indexes dozens of logical fallacies. It gives an explaination of each one, gives an example in an obvious and simple context, and often includes real examples.
Very helpful reading. Having a good understanding of what constitutes a good or bad argument is an absolutely vital skill and I think it is very unfortunate that it is not taught to school children as part of their education (at least in Ireland it is not).

Butterflies And Wheels.com/

A website devoted to reason and rationality, set up in opposition to pseudo-science, relativism, the abuse of science, and other such fashionable nonsense. Plenty of interesting things here; regularly updated links to interesting news stories, articles, book reviews etc.
There is a section updated fortnightly by philosopher Julian Baggini, examining poor argumentative skills. There is a blog which examines woolly thinking appearing in the media.
There is also a top notch Fashionable Dictionary.

Two good online philosophy encyclopedias both with quite detailed and well written articles. Very useful.

Quite a large site full of information with regards to the Evolution/Creationism controversy. There are many well written and informative articles available here. The only problem is that due to the size of the site, it can be a bit daunting at first.
Especially interesting is the Index to Creationist Claims which takes hundreds of creationist claims and one by one refutes them all.
