Blue dildo and a zucchini.
As far as abnormality goes, I own all y'all! |
green wrench
|
i said blue screwdriver too, but then i said potato for the second test.
|
Purple Pliers?
It's just reinforces that quote: "97.6 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot"! |
its a chain lettter, so basicly aimed for the 'simple minded' pesants of the world... so i guess if we give them red hammer shaped carrots they'd be just dandy...
|
The math is really irrelevant its a game of percentages just naturally ask someone to think of their favorite number 1-10 the highest percentage of people pick 7.
blue wrench and carrot o.0 |
blue screwdriver here too and my veggie was a beet! so odd that was the first thing to come to my mind. methinks the stats are a LITTLE off, if not i think we should all be sat down and studied :P
|

Black screwdriver and green beans. Incidentally, neither potatoes nor lettuce are vegetables |

Shows amazing understanding of how our mind works if nothing else  |
80% of statistics are made up on the spot, this is one of those common assossiation things, like think of a jungle animal - quick...... a lot of people will say "lion" lions don't even live in the jungle. For the record red spanner (so half right) and potato
although if i had to guess what most people would say, i would have said carrot |

This is the answer! We all all somewhat skewed and beyond the normal. Don't believe ? How many normal people have you seen writing in the TFP? My Result? A somewhat orangey shade of pink coloured post hole digger and a well roasted butternut pumpkin. |
Thought of a red spanner (wrench) and a green Aubergine. (???!!!)
I think i'm part of the 98%, its just that my maths is shit. And so is my vegetable recognition. (And typing, but I edited that out before you had a chance to comment...) |
Red hammer and an orange.
I'm good at thinking of vegetables... |

I thought of a red wrench and raddish for some reason. |
Hah! I thought of a red powerdrill
Does that put me in the 98% or 2%? |
no i got a pink wrench.......
|
I want to know what they mean by "abnormal". Is it like abnormal in a child molesty kind of way, or abnormal in a "i like experimental jazz" kinda way?
|

A silver wrench and a potato. Hmmm.... |
Black hacksaw
Brussel Sprouts |
I hit both... 98% for me...
Oddly enough, the ONLY answers I've seen people give other than those are "blue screwdriver" which I've seen ehre several times, and "Tomato". It is interesting though... |
blue wrench....looked at the responses before taking the second quiz
|
Its my understanding that this type of exercise is all about what areas of the brain you are using by doing the math problems. Its called a priming effect and, essentially, what is going on is that the neurons around the areas of the brain functioning during the math fire and prime the neurons around the area of the mind where other items are stored. One theory, I heard about this specific exercise is that the color red, the tool hammer, and the vegetable carrot tend to be the first specific item you learn as a child in their respective categories and that the math is meant to either prime the area associated to the earlier learning or to break down any thoughts in your day to day life that might otherwise pop up to biased the exercise (like if I used a screwdriver several hours before reading the quiz).
Oh yeah, I was 2% and 98%. I said squash on the second one, but I think thats cause its getting close to Halloween and I see them all over. |
blue hammer also. and carrot on the second one.
|
red spanner and parsley D:
|
2% in both.
Thought of an orange wrench, and broccoli. The stats are either wrong, or (not surprisingly) TFT has attracted "unique" individuals. |
Blue Screwdriver...
|
Quote:
between 76-83% of people say so. Hammer and five (which isnt a color, I know...but i was confused ;)) Tomato. Still pretty kool. |
Blue screwdriver and broccoli, look out ravenradiodj

red screwdriver and a zucchini

2%. Blue Hammer. But then, i've always know I'm odd.
Side note, my room mate is also a loon. He thought of a red drill. |
2% on both.... blue saw and a cucumber
|
so are we in the 2% if we got the normal ones then?
|
holy crap, I did the calculations as fast as possible and it was like "think of a color and a tool"
the VERY first thing that popped in my mind was a wall painted red and a claw hammer. RED HAMMER scrolled down to read "red hammer" I am in awe.......... |
the more I think about this, the more weird it seems. I honestly thought of RED and HAMMER at the same time. This is just freaky. I wonder why it didn't work for the rest of you guys?
|
I probably got every single one of the math questions wrong. I answered as fast as I read the numbers.
Red Wrench. Orange. Very cool little test, thank you. |
blue wrench and lettuce for me... 2% both times
|
ive done both of these before, but it didnt strike me untill they asked me about the things... then i remembered what the test was looking for and i automaticly put myself into the 98% group... lol!
before that i think i was somewhere inbetween... |
mouse, white (cos that's the colour of my cursor)
and weed. if that's a veggie.... do potheads count under the conventional population? |
