I have a friend who wanted my help to find out if she was pregnant. Well here is her situation:

She had a pregnency scare a month ago or so. But she got her period. And now her breasts are leaking fluid... it's a thin liquid that is a foggy color, she says.

If anyone knows anything about that then just write back. If that could be a sign of being pregnant.
She doesn't have insurance so she doesn't want to go and see a doctor right now. But if she found out a bit more on what is happening with that then maybe it'll give her the initiative to go and see one.

Get a test and find out for sure. Don't need insurance for that. They're what, $10 at the most? No one on this or any other board can tell you if your girl is pregant or not.

one can miss their period and then get it ... and be pregnant. happened to my g/f when we were younger.

test, that's the only difinitive way of knowing... people can tell you all they want that they didn't have anything, but you never know until you test.

Well she made an appointment. She has taken a test.. a few of them and they are all negative.

But there is a good chance that she has an infection or it is breast cancer.

It is also possible for some women to have hormone surges that will make their breats leak without reason at all. I know this sounds weird, and I am very tired so I dont' have it in me to look it up atm. But back in the day these kind of women were used as wet nurses, they could just hold a child and their breasts would produce milk. The milk would be examined and if it was ok, they could nurse children for mothers who didn't have proper milk production, or were orphaned.

I hope that all is well, and she will figure out what's going on. I know there are a lot of Women's clinic's all over the place that will do a pg test for free where I live, you might just have to look it up. They will be much cheaper then a docs office also (at least most are) because they go by income. Check out your area for a women's clinic or Parenting Center and Prevention. There are many reasons for Breasts to leak fluid. I cant tell from your post if she went to the doctor or not, but she really really needs to, no mater what the cost. If she have not been yet, please have her go.
