seize the day?
how many of you actually live life to its fullest, taking chances, even if it means dissappointment just so you can live without saying "damn, i wish i'd sucked it up and took the risk?"
it seems kinda pointless to be living life, and not actually be LIVING it, for some fear of being dissappointed or hurt. |

It also seems kinda pointless to be living life but not developing bonds with people, setting up for the future and making sure you'll be able to "live life to the fullest" at some other point. There is a give and take in life. You can't just take risks all the time because you want to live without regrets. I'm not saying everyone should be sitting in a job they hate for all your life. Just find the "golden mean"

Attempting to live your life to the fullest is just as senless as being afraid to do anything with your life. I make the best choices I can - watch the results and try to learn from them.

I havent had the best life and as a result I have often been plagued with severe depression. About 2 years ago something in me just snapped and I started really taking control of my life. In the space of 6 months I payed of all my debts, quit my job, got a new job, started uni, got rid of girlfriend and had surgery. I took some major risks turning my entire life upside down but I dont regret it at all. I think if your too afraid to live then you can merely exist. I would rather live and that means to the fullest. I dont have to jump out of planes to do this. I just have to follow my heart.
