I am new to this whole thing. Although I do have my own theory as to why God judges people. If for example you have a judge and a jury who find a man guilty of murdering someone. The judge says the evidence is all here laid out before you. You have been found guilty of murder. How do you plea? To which the man on trial responds. Your honor I believe you are a good man and have good morals. I am truley sorry for what I have done. Since I believe this I think it is only fair for you to let me go back into society. I promise I will never do this again. How do you think a good judge will do? Do you think he will let him go? I hope not!! For his sake and the sake of our society. If he is a good judge he will lock him up and make him serve his time.
You look back into the old testiment. God looked past mans sins. David when he commited adultry and then murdered to cover it up. David was afraid of being judged. I can only imagine God coming up to David and say how could you betray me like this? David says betray you!? You wernt even in the picture. I was afraid you would judge me for my actions and take away my kingdom. For many yrs God looked away and just pretended like it wasnt there. Until Christ came into the picture. Christ lived a perfect life and died to take on the sins of the world. For the first time ever Christ felt the distance between God and himslef. My God my God why have you forsaken me. You see the wages of sin is death. Christ chose to be the scarafice the judgement was paid in full for us so that we may live and be free to worship our God to which we were created for. My question for you is simply this.. Why this fixation on God judging us? Why not take the time to realize what God did for us. The scarafice that was made so we may finally know HIM God is a loving God who only wants what is best for you and me |
